Anna Emmeluth Quartet is a Nordic vocal jazz group consisting of virtuoso piano player Juho Valjakka, energetic double bass player Nathan Francis, inventive drummer Teemu Mustonen and singer Anna Emmeluth. Anna Emmeluth herself works with colors in her compositional style. She makes odd intervals feel natural and uses them as a means of storytelling. Her bright voice and personal style adds intimacy and playfulness to her performances. She grew up on Funen and has always felt closely connected to Nature, which is a big inspiration in her work.
