Mads Hansen

Mads Hansen (sax) has a strong emphasis on sound, melodic lines and groove. He is a well-known figure in Danish jazz, and has played and recorded with artists such as Jesper Bodilsen, Henrik Gunde, Jørgen Emborg, Bobo Moreno and many more. While being mostly original, his a warm sound hints at legends such as Stanley Turrentine and Michael Brecker. Critics have called Hansen a funky romantic saxophonist.
