Benjamin Djurhuus

Benjamin Djurhuus is a Faroese multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer. After years working in the background as a collaborator, a desire grew to create something more personal and organic. He draws on his Faroese roots, folk music, and an acoustic, cinematic folk universe. The music is built on live instrumentation and presence, where sound becomes space and is allowed to embrace the listener. An attempt to create a warmth — not the kind that can be measured, but the kind you feel when someone stays at the table a little longer.
