Bjarke Falgren is a jazz/folk violinist who plays his music like he is breathing through the bow. Not as a virtuoso demanding attention, but as someone who finds the common thread between people and sounds. His instrument is an his 300-year-old gypsy violin played low and close, somewhere between Miles Davis muting a trumpet and the warm melodic openness of Pat Metheny. He is constantly on the road playing live and his body of work have received awards, reviews and recognition all over the world.
