Life of a Busker is a Danish independent pop duo who have made a living playing music on the streets around the world. In 2025 they released their debut album Why Can’t I Grow Up? and have reached nearly 1 million streams, received airplay on Danish radio stations P4 and P5, and have even appeared on danish morning tv show, Go’ Morgen Danmark.
Their music is soft, melodic pop with strong singer songwriter roots and inspiration from artists such as JP Saxe, Ed Sheeran, and Gracie Abrams. The songs explore relationships, mental health, and finding your place in life, with the focus track Too Old to Cry serving as a central portrait of the transition into adulthood.
The album is about growing up, doubts, expectations, anxiety, the joy of traveling, and love.
