Loving You

My name is Claus Dencher, and I am a singer-songwriter. I write my songs within a warm lyrical and sonic universe that embraces both depth and lightness. The songs are often accompanied by catchy melodies and frequently carry a touch of melancholy alongside a wink of the eye. In my songwriting, I like to draw from my own life, featuring stories of love and crises. 

“… A catchy male voice, better than the average in Danish rock and pop …” These were the kind words from a review of the 2022 album release 'YOU'. I place great importance on using the expression, technique, and timbre of my voice. To me, the voice is a major part of my musical expression, and I love playing solo acoustic guitar concerts just as much as intense band performances. 

I am undoubtedly inspired by great songwriters like Dylan and Cohen, which is why my musical expression also falls within the genres of folk, rock, and pop.
