Sirens that lure sailors into ruin? Rusty strings? Or maybe just wonderful songs - bittersweet tales of the times we throw ourselves into life without safety nets or the times we walk around with butterflies in our stomachs.
The Danish / Swedish duo LEANDER & SMITH plays melodic and intimate pop music with multi-voice singing, colorful arrangements and a dynamic interaction.
Caroline Leander (Malmö) and Peter Smith (Copenhagen) have both lived with the music for many years, both as solo artists and in other contexts. In Denmark, most people know Peter Smith from hits such as ”Få det godt sammen” og ”It’s a Shame”. Caroline Leander, who is a well-known face as a front figure on the Swedish music scene, on the other hand is an unspoken magazine in Denmark. Until now. Now they meet in the duo LEANDER & SMITH with songs in Danish, Swedish and English.
Their first album was recorded in Gula Studion in Malmö with producer Jens Lindgård
